Answers to Questions

We get asked these questions a lot:

What is Fabulous Flowers USA?

We're a small business owned by a Kenyan Rose Farm to sell high quality scented garden roses to customers in the United States!

Do you only sell flowers to wholesalers?

No. Although the majority of our regular business is with some amazing floral wholesalers, we are also able to accommodate orders from Florists and Event Designers. All you have to do is ask!

How do I buy your Fabulous Flowers?

Simply send an order request to hugh@fabflowersusa.com. Orders must be sent a minimum of 4 days in advance of set delivery date. This amount of time is nonnegotiable. You are making direct purchases from the farm, and the farm needs time to be able to gather your order from the fields.

How do I look after my Fabulous Flowers?

For best results we recommend the following:

IF YOU ARE RECEIVING FLOWERS IN DRY BOXES

  1. Unpack the flower boxes and take the bunches out and remove the wet foot bag at the base of the stems but leave the wrapping materials and sleeves on.

  2. Cut with a sharp blade approximately 5cm or 2” from the base of the stems.

  3. Remove excess foliage if any before placing the flower bunch in buckets of 15cm or 6" of clean water mixed with a flower hydrating additive.

  4. The flowers will need up to 12 hours in a cool area to be fully rehydrated. A temperature of 5 degrees Celsius is ideal.

  5. After 6 hours of the rehydration process you can gently remove the wrapping materials, but leave the sleeves on until the flowers are fully rehydrated. Do not lift the roses out of the water at any point during the re-hydration process.

  6. Your flowers will be ready to sell!

IF YOU ARE RECEIVING FLOWERS IN WET BUCKETS

  1. If the flowers arrive cooled and hydrated, keep them chilled and remove any remaining wrapping materials as soon as possible. Leave the outer sleeves on until you need the flowers for an arrangement.

  2. Check the level of solution and top up if necessary, as they require a lot of solution.

  3. If you need them to open slowly for an event at a later point, leave the stems for a bit longer in cold storage for 3-4 days, but remember to change the water every 2 days and check the water level regularly. Make sure that all wrapping materials and sleeves are off when you decide to store them longer to avoid any potential condensation on the flowers.

  4. Your flowers will be extra ready to sell!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

THE HYDRATING SOLUTION SHOULD ALWAYS BE MIXED AS PER INSTRUCTIONS.

DO NOT OVERDOSE THE FLOWERS WITH HYDRATING SOLUTION.

BUCKETS AND CONTAINERS SHOULD BE STERILE AND REGULARLY WASHED.
